How much Coaching does your company need?
This field is very new in my program and was established due to the wish to offer complete Coaching services.
There are a lot of companies out there, who apply or wish to apply coaching in their company, but they don't know how, or to what extend it might be useful or in some cases the meaning and use of coaching at all is a question.
Taylor-made Designing Coaching Programs has for me a lot in common with a normal for instance 1:1 coaching process: Maybe contexts and challenges seem to be similar, but the process and outcome is very individual and always different. The same for coaching programs: maybe your company structure is similar to others and also the challenges you face, but the development of the coaching program will be tailor-made to your company needs, strategies, stakeholders and dynamic in order to receive the best outcome for your organization and thus differ from others.
Focus on Your needs One of the starting points of designing your coaching program will be the focus on your needs. This process is top-down driven and needs the involvement of the top management of your organization in means of getting clear, what the (HR) strategy of your company is, what are the burning needs, what are the biggest desires, and due to this should the program focus finally on a part/department/team/individuals of the company or should it be an overall understanding within the whole enterprise?
Step by step process Due to this question that developing coaching programs is a step-by-step-process and progress, which requires feedback, evaluation and involvement of the top and other stakeholder.
Win-Win for all stakeholder The intention of coaching is positive, so also in this regard, designing coaching programs seeks to achieve the best win-win situation for all stakeholders: top-management, HR, coachees, coach, whole company and other might be defined.
Impact of Culture Coaching is nowadays in all mouths and ears if it come to people development. Thus there are also a lot of approaches existing as well as coaching is highly cultural dependent. Therefore you will define your own coaching understanding and concept due to your culture and environment.
Continuous Learning Process Coaching as a principle includes a continuous learning process. So designing the coaching program might be a start or set a strong fundament in order to further development and enhance flexibility and excellence.
